State regulations require that the person dropping off or picking up a child from our facility sign their child in or out every time the child is at school. This roll is what we would take if there were an emergency and we needed to leave the building. Please be sure to drop off/pick up your child at their scheduled time. This insures the safety of our program because it affects our child/teacher ratio. It also allows for teachers to take their lunches and leave at their scheduled times. A late fee of $12.oo per/hr. will be charged when children are dropped off or picked up five minutes before or after their scheduled time.
Any extra hours needed beyond your child’s regularly scheduled time must be pre-arranged with the staff. For prices regarding extra hours please refer to the tuition agreement.
A child needs to be well to be able to participate actively in the program. After a fever, a child’s temperature must be normal for 24hrs. before her/she returns to school. If your child has vomited or had diarrhea, he/she can not return to school for 24hrs. If your child is well enough to come to school, we will expect them to be able to go outdoors. Often children may ask to come to school even if they are ill. Although your child may be disappointed, please keep them at home if they are sick. If your child becomes ill while at school and you are called please cooperate by promptly picking up your child. We will not call unless your child needs to be at home. Children inflicted with any infectious disease will have to be excluded until they are free of all infections. A physician’s note to that effect must be submitted to the director, after which the child may be re-admitted.
If your child is injured at school, the attending teacher will fill out an accident report stating what occurred, as well as treatment taken. Please sign at the bottom and return the report so the attending teacher knows you were notified of the accident. Children are not allowed bottles or pacifiers at any time for health reasons.
We hope to give each child a feeling of respect for all the people at our school. We encourage children to talk out their problems and to express their feelings to the other children. When a conflict arises we will try active listening/redirections/separating and discussion of alternatives with your child. We need parents’ cooperation in these matters. When the school and parents work together using consistent approaches the children will benefit. When we experience difficulty working with a particular child, we will take steps to ensure that our best efforts are used to help that child. If we are sill unable to work successfully with a child, the parents may be asked to withdraw the child. NO corporal punishment is ever used!
Tuition is based on a yearly rate and pro-rated monthly for convenience. We offer a year round program.Monthly installments are due in advance on or before the first of each month. A late fee of $15.00 per day will be charged after the fifth of the month. If tuition and late fees are not paid in full by the tenth of the month, your child will have to be terminated from the program.
Any additional drop in time will be charged at a rate of $15.00 per hour. Any extra care must be cleared ahead of time with the director and is payable daily. In case of withdrawal, you must notify the school in WRITING 30 days in advance and are responsible for tuition that month whether or not my child attends. No refunds, credits or switching of days are granted when my child is absent from school or on holidays. Training Wheels Preschool can modify this tuition agreement with 30 days notice.

After 4:15 p.m. children may be taken to an emergency care giver and notification of address will be posted on the door. Parents are expected to call the school if they will be late; however, late fees will still be charged. Late fees must be paid directly to the teacher on duty when the child is picked up. A fee of $11.00 per hour will be charged for children who are picked up more than 5 minutes after their scheduled time during preschool hours.
